The Tried and True Lacrosse Camp that will be held at Hanover College from June 10-13.
The camp is focused towards boys entering the 6th-12th grades in the fall of 2012. Our mission is to teach the fundamentals of lacrosse, proven over time, to establish a basis for growth and passion for the game. Regardless of skill level, the objective is to foster life-long enthusiasm for lacrosse, its tradition and heritage.
Our teaching philosophy is simple: Fundamentals and repetitive skills work are the building blocks for success in any endeavor.
The Tried and True Lacrosse Camp focuses on principles and skill development necessary to form the best habits possible to enhance your potential as a player. These fundamentals and skills are gleaned from 50 years of playing and coaching lacrosse at every level of the game by Coach Skip Lichtfuss of Hanover College.
The camp’s staff will be comprised of current and former NCAA D1 and D3 players. Housing, meals, medical trainers, etc. will all be included in the camp’s price: $350 for overnight campers and $290 for extended day campers. All players will receive a camp reversible and a player evaluation. There will also be a 30 minute session for parents with a “How-To” handbook provided.
